Hand spun yarn

This is my first ever hand spun yarn I've ever made! And it is literally hand spun. No drop spindle, no carding brushes, just me and my fingers and raw wool from farmer mike's sheep right across the road. So exciting to me for some reason. I'm hoping to incorporate it into my paintings somehow. Embroidery... Anyways, something about the smell of this just slightly washed wool sent me into a deep deep memory zone. Like it was from a memory I had 1000 years ago of home.
