Explanation of dance video

i want to add a little more explanation for the dance video posted below. i originally did this for my mid-term critiques at the Burren College of Art. the whole of the presentation was that i had everyone form a circle around the room. i entered from behind a curtain as the music started. after the dance, we had one minute of silence and then one at a time around the room everyone gave a one word color response, and then a one word feeling response.

i loved this because it is my goal as an artist to involve people in my art in a way that engages them in their physical and emotional world. i feel so strongly in the magic of listening to our senses and bodies and i also believe that art is meant to be something that weaves throughout all of life.  i want my art to invite people to learn to listen to their own bodies and the guidance within them.
